Why We Exist

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to train and equip people to Hear, Know and Follow God’s voice according to John 10:27:

My Sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

The triune God is a communicative Being who loves to talk — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have dialogued among themselves from eternity past and enjoy ongoing communication in an infinitely deep relationship.

Purpose, Objectives & Goals of ZOE Ministries
The wonder of this is that, having created us in their image, they desire to draw us into that same communicative relationship. It is not a secret, but does require we learn how to listen, pay attention to and follow God’s voice.

Our Mission

Our mission is to impart God’s life [zoe] into the hearts of responsive people.

If we live by the Holy Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward, walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 Amplified

It is possible to accept God’s free gift of personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ without ever moving very far beyond the introduction.

Yet throughout the Word, the Lord continues to call forth His special people, a Bride, who will be responsive to His voice and His ways. His responsive Bride desires only to do His infinitely perfect will, passionately longing for the soon coming Bridegroom and infused by the Holy Spirit with the reality of His zoe life.

Our Vision

Our vision is to connect responsive people, as the Bride of Christ, with the Bridegroom in a passionate love relationship.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.  Matthew 22:37-38 NIV

It is the heart beat of this ministry to not only impart the understanding that believers can hear personally from God, but to help them become passionate about the One who is speaking.

Jesus even exhorted the church in Ephesus, with all its good works, to return to their first love (Revelation 2:4). Passion for the Bridegroom King was the one thing they lacked!

This too is the desire of the Father that, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we also become zealous for our Bridegroom and King—our hearts ever less distracted and pulled away from Him with daily busyness.
